It looks like ReadWave is starting to pick up more readers. We’re planning to post our existing short stories and serialize our novellas there over the next few months, posting one installment a week. I’ve started with The Pitch. It will be interesting to see what kind of feedback we get.
We’ve decided to publish some of our short stories via Smashwords as an easy way to provide eBook versions of our content. You’ll see links to the Smashwords page showing up on stories as they are published.
I’ve been very impressed with Smashwords so far. I’ve set up a ‘publisher’ account so Rebecca and I can have separate author profiles but still manage our books using one account. Smashwords will even provide ISBNs if needed, though we should be able to get a free block from Collections Canada.
The first day in my new serial called The Witch’s Diary has been posted. I am sporadically working on this project, so there will likely be other content posted between entries.
Follow Hester, a newly trained witch, as she forges her way through the cutthroat professional world while she deals with a newly acquired handicap and tries to avoid angry mobs, festering snot beasts and a string of dead-end jobs.
We have published a new short story called Just Well Loved. Another experiment with theme and style. Bwah ha ha ha haaa (for those of you wondering…that was my evil laugh).
We have published a new short story called Legacy. Not my usual fare, but it’s good to branch out and try something different every so often.
